Yesterday I walked in and...
was immediately impressed! Wow! Superb service starting with hello from the pleasant young lady who greeted me and ending with our server who so kindly took a picture of us after our networking lunch.
I know you've experienced that moment when you look at a place (business) on the web and then show up and what you see is nothing like what you saw on the web. Well Cantina Laredo certainly is walking their talk and doing it with style, class and professionalism.
The atmosphere was lively but not outrageous, the decor was exactly how I expected it to be and more (modern, appealing, a bit on the posh side and classy) and the food was sensational. I'm not a big Mexican food lover but Cantina Laredo has peeked my curiosity to try more Latin inspired and Mexican foods. When our lunch entrees arrived they looked exactly like they do on the website and tasted sensational. I especially loved how they prepared the guacamole table side and it was delicious!
We were delightfully stuffed after lunch but agreed to share a dessert!
This was one time I did not regret ordering dessert even though I was full and satisfied.
Their Mexican Brownie is indescribable!-- All I can say is that if you are a chocolate lover you must get there soon and try it. Rich, decadent, delectable... yes that's what we experienced with every bite of this spectacular dessert.
The servers were friendly, polite, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. We were well taken care from start to finish. Everything I imagined about Cantina Laredo was a reality. This was my first time experiencing the Cantina Laredo brand and they now have a new fan and soon to return customer.
What I have just described has much to do with two things. 1). Branding and 2). A Business' Brand Promise. Their brand is clear, distinctive and relevant; three characteristics of a strong brand and they delivered exactly what their website (brand) said it would (brand promise). Ultimately a brand should focus on communicating and creating two things; a relationship and an experience.
For me, the relationship building process began once I took one look at their website for the first time. It clearly communicated who they are, what they believe in, what they offer and what's in it for me. The relationship building continued when I spoke to the staff to make a reservation. I actually spoke to a manager who made making the reservation easy and enjoyable. The pleasant young woman who greeted me continued the relationship building process and Bobby the kind server who took our picture sealed the deal.
From the moment I viewed their website until I left the building, Cantina Laredo established and increased their brand power by focusing on relationship building and providing a phenomenal experience. Essentially those two things are what a brand really is and when a business nails it and delivers more than their brand promise they become one of the BEST brands in the marketplace.
I'm so happy we chose to have our monthly networking meeting there and I will definitely return for more with my colleagues, friends and family (brand equity).
I LOVE brands that walk their talk, deliver and get results... Those are top-shelf brands!
We are looking for locations to host our upcoming networking lunches. If you know of a fabulous restaurant (brand) that walks their talk and serves top-notch food leave me a comment and let me know.
Bravo! Cantina Laredo... you are a rock-star brand... one of the BEST in Omaha!
Thank you for being such amazing brand ambassadors for your brand and for the terrific experience!
I'll be back....
